The Rapid Modular Casting program starts with Bearon working with you to develop a 3D part model and casting tree. Specialized simulation software is utilized to predict metal flow and enhance casting quality. Upon completion of mold optimization, 3D mold and core models are produced and used to produce a bonded sand mold.

Rapid Modular Casting is well-suited for converting weldments and forgings, supporting legacy or end-of-life projects, and producing castings when the need does not justify investing in traditional tooling. It is also a strong option for quickly testing new designs before moving into larger-scale production.
This process is ideal for short-run casting projects with parts measuring up to 10” x 10” x 5” and can support materials including gray iron, malleable iron, ductile iron, brass, and aluminum. For higher-volume casting needs, our traditional casting services may be a better fit.
